Dipi kvitko

Dipi was born in Buenos Aires, in 1975 when tango already started its downward curve in the mass consumption. Motivated by early passion for Argentine music, Dipi embarked the journey through tango nights of Buenos Aires with his proposal of aesthetic vindication perfectly avoiding the setbacks of industry.

He is a graduated teacher at School of Popular Music, Avellaneda where he developed a close relationship with Aníbal Arias, master of the guitar and member of the famous quartet of Aníbal Troilo. “Dipi”, so nicknamed, studied with Arias and participated in his guitar quartet for more than a decade.

His numerous solo or collaborative work relate him with Jorge Vidal, Leopoldo Federico, Jairo, Víctor Lavallén, Peteco Carabajal, Walter “Chino” Laborde, Rudi Flores, Sandra Luna, José Ángel Trelles, Ricardo “Chiqui” Pereyra, Omar Mollo, Daniel Melingo, Hugo Rivas and Abel Córdoba, among many others to come…
